January 11: Leash up fido and join a naturalist-led walk in Coyote Hills! See native birds we don’t see in our backyards, like the rare California Gnatcatchers that call out in the early mornings.
This is a 2 to 2 1/2 mile hike (with some uphill climbing) suitable for the entire family. It is a wonderful time to enjoy a walk in the West Coyote Hills breathe in fresh air, soak up the sunshine and be out-of-doors.
Dogs are welcome on a leash. Wear comfortable shoes, a jacket, and bring water and sunscreen. Free.
Saturday, 9 – 11 a.m.
Euclid at Lakeview (Equestrian Ring) west of Laguna Lake Park.
