October 14: Canine Companions for Independence is proud to present the seventh annual HAUTE DOG LA, a Howl-oween doggie runway fashion show that will feature pooches and their owners walking the “catwalk” in their own creations, ranging from elegant to outrageous. Prepare for an evening of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, silent auction, live auction, fashion, costumes, doggies, music and much more fun as the dogs take over the catwalk! Sunday, 4-8 p.m. $125 per ticket. Skirball Cultural Center, 2701 N. Sepulveda Blvd., Los Angeles.
