Shelter pets need all the love they can get. Want to make a shelter pet happy? You can use your skills, donate items, volunteer… there are so many creative ways to help out.

Spread the Word

Share adoptable pets on social media. You know your friends love seeing pics of cute pups.

Animal Uber? Have a car? Sometimes, animals need to be transferred between foster families, shelters, etc.

Show Off Your Skills

Photographers. Good pics for adoption profiles can make a world of difference.

Website/Graphic Designers. Offer your skills in web designing or making flyers, brochures, etc.

Crafty peeps. Create homemade blankets, toys, bandanas, etc.

DIYers. Are you handy? Offer your carpentry skills for repairs or projects.

Gather Supplies

Most shelters welcome new and gently used donations. And many of these things, you probably already have in your own home!

  • Cat/Dog Toys
  • Dry & Canned Dog Food
  • Blankets & Towels (no pillows/comforters)
  • Cat Litter
  • Dog Chews
