October 26: Live Love Animal Rescue and Lucky Dog Humane Education are partnering up with Blockhead Brigade at Pit Bull Appreciation Day. This community event will include vendors, food, dog adoptions, a pack walk, pet portraits, a pit bull muralist, humane education, fostering info, training demos, yoga with your dog, a raffle, photo contest, and more. All breeds, mixes, and mutts welcome! Saturday, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Free.
